Bio:
Gabrielle is a theatre artist, director, educator, movement director, choreographer, and performance coach. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Physical Devised Performance Practices from Columbia College Chicago and her Bachelors in Theatre Performance and Arts Administration from Rider University. After graduating she became an adjunct professor in a few different theatre programs across the Chicagoland area. She was a semi finalist for the Excellence in Teaching Award in only her second year of teaching at Columbia College Chicago. Gabrielle is a certified youth mental health first aider. In Berlin, Germany she attended LISPA as apart of her MFA, a performer training program based in the Lecoq methodology and she became certified in Movement as Medicine under Karímu Samuels. She is a performer that has been seen in Europe and the United States. Some recent credits include Newsies, Cinderella, SUFFS, Matilda, Anon(ymous), Shoop, Alice in Wonderland, Wild Women and Cookin’ With Janice. Gabrielle is a founding ensemble member of Scrap Haus, a Philadelphia/New Jersey based creative collective. She is also a founding ensemble member of Whisper Theatre Collective, a Chicago based theatre collective. She is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association and the Association of Theatre Movement Educators.
